Glass

Glass countertops and tiles are usually very easy to maintain.  Because glass countertops are highly non-porous they are stain proof and also very hygienic, therefore, food items may be placed directly on the glass surface.  Glass can usually take heat up to 700 degrees before worrying that it may crack.

Glass countertops have a very tensile strength and should be able to take a tremendous amount of weight. But dropping an object of considerable weight from a certain height will definitely cause the glass to chip or possibly shatter.

Regularly cleaning glass countertops with a moist soapy solution and then towel drying is all that is needed to maintain the beauty of your glass countertops.

To prolong the beauty of your glass kitchen countertops and keep them shining forever, keep them as dry as possible.  Properly maintained, your glass kitchen countertops will enhance the entire kitchen area with their contemporary beauty and sophistication.
