Cork
Once installed and sealed, you can keep your cork looking new for years to come! Sweeping, an occasional damp mop and reapplying the sealer once a year should keep your floors looking new. When using a damp mop; use a mop that has been well wrung out. Wet mopping should be avoided as well as allowing alot of water to remain standing on the cork. To reseal the floors, use the manufacturer's suggested sealant once a year. You may be able to use a wax if recommended by the vendor. Never use harsh solvents or cleaners as these may discolor or damage the cork-flooring surface.
