Copper
Copper is a natural anti-bacterial surface. It is not necessary to scrub your copper with abrasive cleaners. This will remove the patina. You could however, choose to give your sink, tub or tabletop a thorough cleaning with mild soap and a soft cloth from time to time. For an added layer of protection, especially in hard water areas, consider coating your surface with high quality wax. This will maintain the patina while providing better water runoff. If your copper surface should get scratched, it will regain its original, aged patina with regular use and no other care procedure. Copper does not require much work at all.
